Intramurals
Intramural sports at Saint Louis University, which offer students a fun opportunity to compete against other SLU students right on campus, are managed through IMLeagues, an online portal for managing your intramural team. IMLeagues provides an overview of sports and activities offered each session, performance records, virtual trophy cases, message boards and more.
Team play in competitive sports such as flag football, soccer, softball, basketball, ultimate frisbee or volleyball costs $25 per team. Individual sports are usually at no cost to the participants, except for bowling and golf.
To participate in intramurals at SLU, you must first visit shopcampusrec.slu.edu to register for the sport(s) you want to play and pay. Next you will activate your IMLeagues account. Once you have created an IMLeagues account, team captains can register their team(s) and players can join their registered team(s). Your team(s) may not compete unless you’ve paid the entry fee. The University reserves the right to alter any team name that does not meet the University standards.
Individuals interested in establishing a team that does not yet exist should submit their name or names of potential members, as well as the sport they would like to play, to Sam Kelner, program coordinator, at 314-977-7174 or sam.kelner@slu.edu. We will try to form teams from the names, or you will be invited to come to a captain's meeting for the sport you have picked and be placed on a team at that time.
Your entire team must be signed up through IMLeagues before game time to be eligible. You may add new team members until the week of playoffs.
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Saint Louis University is not responsible for the payment of medical or other accident-related costs as a result of your participation in intramural-sanctioned activities.
Contact SLU’s intramural office at 314-977-7174 with any questions or issues.
