Saint Louis Zoo

What: Volunteers are needed for Boo at the Zoo, a non-scary kid-friendly evening of Zoo experiences filled with games, activities, entertainment and treats. 
When: Any day October 16 -30, volunteer shift of 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Willows Way

Non-profit that supports adult clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
What: Volunteers are needed to assist our clients as they participate in a Halloween Dance.
When: Monday, October 22 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Guardian Angel Settlement Association

Non-profit dedicated to empowering the disadvantaged through an array of family and social services.
What: Volunteers are needed for our Make A Difference Day service project, assisting with cleaning, maintenance and organization of our facility.
When: Saturday, October 27 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

St. Louis Naturally Occurring Retirement Community

Non-profit that performs home maintenance on the houses of older adults to allow them to remain independent in their residence.
What: Volunteers are needed to for a community workday, performing outdoor maintenance and home repair to houses of older adults.
When: Saturday, October 27 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Asthma and Allergy Foundation of St. Louis

What: Volunteers are needed for the 14th annual Trivia Night fundraiser, assisting with registration, auction set-up and running, selling raffle tickets, and clean-up.  Dinner provided to all volunteers.
When: Saturday, October 27 from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Christian Friends of New Americans

Non-profit organization that provides social services to recently arrived immigrants and refugees.
What: Volunteers are needed for a monthly Health and Wellness Clinic, where we provide immigrants and refugees with basic health screenings, nutrition education, etc.  No medical background required.
When: Saturday, November 3 from 9:00 a.m. - Noon

Special Olympics

What: Volunteers are needed for the St. Louis Area Bowling Tournament, helping assist our athletes on lanes, cheer them on, and help with general event-running.

Friends of Kids with Cancer

Non-profit organization that supports children and families dealing with cancer.
What: Energetic volunteers are needed for the 26th Annual Fashion Show and Boutique event, a program where our kids dress-up, dance, and participate in a fashion show.  Help with all aspects of the event - we have two different shows.
When: Thursday, November 8 from either 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (first show) or 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

The Open Space Council

Non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and sustainability of our natural resources.
What: Volunteers are needed for Operation Wild Lands Honeysuckle Hack, helping remove invasive honeysuckle along the Meramec Greenway.  Tools provided - wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
When: Thursday, November 8 thru Saturday, November 9, all from 9:00 a.m. - Noon

Lutheran Senior Services

What: Volunteers are needed at our nursing/retirement home for the annual Veteran's Day Luncheon, where we celebrate our residents who are veterans.  Help with set-up, serving, clean-up, and more.
When: Friday, November 9 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Department of Veteran's Affairs - St. Louis

What: Volunteers are needed for the 2018 Welcome Home Celebration for veterans returning from active duty in recent years.  This annual event features  resource booths for employment, healthcare, claims, and education, as well as fun activities for families of veterans.  Food, drinks, music and more - help is needed with all aspects of the celebration.  
When: Friday, November 9 thru Sunday, November 11 - anytime 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day.

Non-profit that provides support services and housing to people experiencing homelessness in St. Louis.
What: Volunteers are needed for our annual Peter and Paul Race for Home 5/10K fundraiser, assisting with course management, handing out water, registration, and clean-up.
