The Center for Health Law Studies has been listed as a top program since the rankings were first published.

“The Center for Health Law Studies continues to set the standard for excellence in health care law and justice,” said William P. Johnson, J.D., dean of the School of Law.  “My colleagues in the Center are leaders in their field, mentoring young scholars and educating our future attorneys. They embody our social justice mission. Through scholarship and advocacy, they use their expertise to promote access to justice and better our communities. I am pleased that their work has once again been recognized on a national level.”

Established in 1982, the Center for Health Law Studies was one of the first law school programs to focus on the intersection of the health care system and the legal system. The Center provides four health related dual-degree programs, including the J.D./MHA, which has been available to students for more than 30 years. The law school recently announced the addition of two new internationally recognized health law scholars to their faculty.

Four programs in the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business were ranked in the top 30 this year, including entrepreneurship, international business, supply chain management and accounting.

"The Chaifetz School's faculty and staff are transforming business education for our students to ensure they are prepared to succeed in whatever careers they choose,” said Mark Higgins, Ph.D., the Edward Jones Endowed Dean of the Chaifetz School. “These 2019 rankings are a testament to that commitment, and we're honored to again have four of our graduate business programs recognized as among the best in the country."

SLU School of Nursing’s master’s program ranked among the top 50 out of more than 500 nursing graduate programs in the country. The School of Nursing has been a national leader in nursing education since 1928. The school offered the first accelerated B.S.N. and comprehensive online M.S.N. programs in the nation.

"The high ranking of our graduate programs attests to the School’s academic quality, excellent and value-based academic programs,” said Teri Murray, Ph.D., R.N., dean of the School of Nursing. “We are mission-driven, serve others, and teach our students to deliver value-based, high-quality holistic care.  Our expert and high caliber of faculty will continue to deliver innovative, cutting-edge programs that enable our students to excel."
