A National Leader in Nursing Education

You’ll be challenged to learn more about the human body than you might have thought possible. Yet in the end, what you learn about most at Saint Louis University’s School of Nursing just might be yourself.

Through our innovative approach to nursing education, we dive deeper to discover the strength, spirit and compassion required to provide patients with unparalleled care. We’re pioneering a path that is shaping the future of our field.

SLU has been a national leader in nursing education since 1928  in 2018, we will celebrate the school’s 90th anniversary. We created the first accelerated B.S.N. and comprehensive online M.S.N. programs in the country.

Our success shows. In 2017, 94.4 percent of our graduates passed the NCLEX — a rate nearly seven points higher than the national average. And, in 2017 and 2018, U.S. News and World Report ranked our M.S.N.-NP program number 35 in their Best Online Master’s in Nursing survey.
