Scholars Programs

Our scholars programs encompass not only what you learn at SLU but how you go about learning it. They embrace academic rigor, cultivate passion for experiential learning and encourage intellectual curiosity.

You shouldn't have to wait until you finish your bachelor's degree to start working on your career goals. Scholars programs at SLU are designed to give motivated undergraduate students the chance to expedite their education and provide a clearer path to postgraduate success.

SLU's Most Popular Scholars Programs

Medical Scholars are placed on an early application track to the SLU School of Medicine, allowing them to apply as early as the spring semester of their sophomore year, with acceptance notices sent before the start of their junior year. 

Pre­-Law Scholars are placed on a guaranteed admittance track to the SLU School of Law.

Additional Scholars Program Options

Accounting Scholars can earn a Master of Accounting degree in five years, fulfilling the 150­ credit hour requirement to sit for the Unified Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) Examination.

Cook Business Scholars benefit from guaranteed enrollment into business classes and can complete their B.S. in Business Administration (with any concentration) in three years.

Pharmacy Scholars are placed on an accelerated pathway to completing both their bachelor's degree through Saint Louis University and their Pharm.D. through St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

Pre­-Physician Assistant (PA) Scholars are guaranteed a seat in SLU’s highly competitive, graduate-­level physician assistant program.

Think 5 Social Work Scholars can receive a B.S. in Social Work in four years and an M.S.W. within two or three additional semesters.

Applying to the Scholars Programs

The scholars programs at SLU are highly competitive, and each program maintains minimum GPA requirements. Log into your SLU Applicant  Portal to apply for admission into one of these programs.

Students may apply to as many programs for which they are eligible. Applications cannot be altered once submitted.
